Purchase process
1. Choosing your kitten
As a trusted Maine Coon breeder in Minnesota, you choose your kitten, we confirm availability, and I answer all your questions — even the ones you think might be silly.
2. Deposit (non-refundable)
To reserve a kitten from our selection of Maine Coon cats for sale in MN, a $500 deposit is required. The deposit is non-refundable* and shows serious intentions. Once the deposit is received, the kitten is taken off the market and reserved just for you.
3. Contract
After the deposit is sent, we sign a purchase contract that clearly outlines all terms and conditions. No surprises — everything is transparent.
4. Remaining balance
The remaining balance is due before the kitten goes home. Accepted payment methods: Zelle / Venmo / crypto / cash app / cash and etc (as agreed).

5. Kitten preparation
Your Maine Coon kitten in MN goes to the new home: • no earlier than 3.5–4 months of age (depending on weight and surgery timing), • spayed/neutered, • vaccinated according to age, • veterinary checked, • with a contract and care recommendations.
6. Going home day
The date and travel details are discussed in advance. The kitten leaves only after full recovery from surgery — safety first.

Who to choose; male or female? or Both?
This is the first question I ask my clients when they’re looking for Maine Coon kittens in MN. Honestly, I don’t understand why, but about 60% prefer a male, 30% prefer a female, and 10% don’t care — 'show us the photos and we’ll decide.'
Here’s my personal opinion and experience as a Maine Coon breeder in Minnesota. First, something important I always mention right away: if you’re getting just one kitten, you most likely won’t notice much difference at all. One kitten means one personality, and everything usually goes very smoothly.
Things start to feel a little different when you’re getting two Maine Coon kittens. From my experience, the easiest combinations are male + male or male + female — those tend to be the most balanced dynamics.
A slightly different story begins when it’s two females — not bad, just… more interesting 😄. Females aren’t harder — they’re simply more detailed in their personalities and often need a more thoughtful, attentive approach… just like girls usually do. Males, on the other hand, tend to be simpler and more straightforward.
Males just need to sleep, eat, have their bellies scratched… and chat with birds through the window. And females — well, like real girls — they want attention, emotions, involvement, and yes… a little DRAMA 😄. They’re always ready to 'solve' things TOGETHER.
Starting a fight over a toy? Easy. Opening the unopenable, tearing off the untearable, climbing where no one can reach — no problem!!!! Every female has a BFF — or even several — and these girls quickly organize a small 'criminal gang.' One starts chewing on the corner of a door, and the others must try it too — 'what if it tastes good?' And suddenly everyone’s involved.
They’re incredibly smart and sometimes a little… creative 😅. Yes, whiskers may suffer — usually the weakest one’s — but that’s part of learning feline social dynamics.
So in short: If you enjoy an active home, strong personalities, emotions, and interaction — a female can be an amazing choice. If you prefer calm, predictability, and peaceful vibes — a male might be a better fit.
Some people worry about males marking, but after neutering they usually don’t mark at all. They simply stop caring — girls are no longer interesting, so there’s no reason to mark. And my 5-year-old stud (the father of all kittens) doesn’t mark either — even though he’s not neutered.
